Lagi2 gue nonton film Indonesia. Apakah ini menunjukan bahwa gue mendukung perfileman Indonesia? Sebenernya mendukung perfileman Indonesia itu adalah efek samping yang tidak disengaja, kebetulan aja di Plaza Kalibata adanya cuma film Indonesia doank. Gue milih Plaza Kalibata soalnya deket dari rumah dah bayarnya relatif murah, walau dengan konsekuensi; layar yang kecil, kadang kursinya gak ada sandaran tangannya, kursinya goyang2 dan berbunyi, banyak penonton ABG yang berisik walau film dah dimulai, de el el. Tapi yah, dinikmati saja..
Minggu kemaren gue nonton bareng si Lebon, temen semenjak kuliah sampe sekarang sama2 PNS di Dept. PU. Sebelum nonton, lagi2 ke KFC biar perut gak kosong. Berhubung kita berdua kalo makan suka kalap, jadinya kita pesen paket 7 yang porsinya seharusnya untuk 3 orang plus kentang goreng yang large. Selesai makan kita berdua janji gak akan makan ayam lagi selama 1 minggu. Udah gak napsu lagi liat ayam, meskipun pake bikini.
Dengan berjalan pelan kayak orang lagi hamil 8 bulan tapi tetep berusaha nahan perut yang buncit biar enak diliat sama ABG, bikin kita berdua keliatan kayak lagi nahan mencret. Setelah berpapasan dengan beberapa ABG yang menjauhi kami dengan muka jijay, akhirnya sampe juga ke bioskop, duduk dengan lega menunggu eksekusi dimulai.
Cerita dasarnya sederhana.. Jemi (by Ben Joshua) adalah mahasiswa abadi yang siap2 di DO sama.. err.. "dosen" (by Dr. Boyke) kalo gak segera memperbaiki semua nilainya, mencari dosen pembimbing dan menyelesaikan skripsinya. Trus datanglah dosen baru, si Lea (by Titi Kamal) yang montoq tapi sama sekali gak ngerti soal cowo, seks dan sekitarnya. Singkat cerita, si Lea ngajarin semua mata kuliah dan si Jemi ngajarin seks. Sementara si Dr. Boyke pengen bantuan si Jemi untuk bisa kawin sama siLea, dengan ancaman si Jemi bakal di DO. Apakah si Jemi milih lulus ataukah milih cewe? Udah bisa ditebaklah, pasti.. Jadi soal cerita sama sekali gak ada yang istimewa macam intrik2 kayak di sinetron yang ternyata si A anaknya si B, si B berantem sama si C, si C suka sama si A, si A suka sama si D, si D sekarat mo mati, si E mau bunuh diri dan semua tokoh gak perduli terhadap si E.
Visualisasinya gak jelek kok. Cerah dan enak dipandang, termasuk ceplakan segitiga celana dalam si Titi Kamal di scene2 awal. Dan gue agak bertanya2, apa iya ada kost2an mahasiswa yang campur cewe-cowo dan si Ibu Kostnya "menggilir" anak kostnya? Kalo ada, gue cuma bisa bilang; "wow! Kiamat sudah dekat!".
Untuk suaranya, cukup jelas terdengar walau kadang beberapa dialog ngomongnya terlalu cepet, jadi cuma kedengeran kayak "blublublublub". Dan musik pengiringya STD, gak jelek tapi tidak cukup bagus untuk diingat.
Nah, sekarang soal akting. Agak mengejutkan, gue merasa akting mereka pas.. Paling tidak untuk menjadi seorang pervert, akting mereka sangat pas. Yang gak pas itu kalo pas akting non pervert..
Tepuk tangan buat Dr. boyke yang cukup menghibur dan meresapi aktingnya sebagai pervert yang kurang penyaluran. Ini mungkin didapat dari prakteknya bertahun2 dan menganalisa para pasien-nya. Acungan jempol buat sarah sechan sebagai Ibu Kost yang agak nympho , kesan sexy bisa tetap muncul walau body sarah yang agak rata dan kecil kayak tatakan mouse. Akting si titi kamal secara umum biasa aja, tapi khusus scene dia nangis campur marah sangat meyakinkan sekali.
Terus terang gue bingung mo nulis apa lagi tentang film ini. Soalnya filmnya sama sekali gak berkesan. Entah karena gue shock liat ceplakan segitiga pengaman si Titi Kamal atau karena gue lebih konsen ngelus2 perut gue yang kekenyangan.
Overall, D.O. Drop Out adalah sebuah film yang datar, malah kayaknya masih lebih seru nonton sinetron. Akting yang bagus dari beberapa pemerannya, sama sekali tidak membantu menggugah gue untuk berhenti ngelus2 perut gue. Semuanya serba nanggung dan gak diolah dengan sempurna, bantet!
Film ini cocok untuk:
- Pervert wannabe.
- Pengen liat ceplakan segitiga pengaman si Titi Kamal.
- Pengen liat si Sarah Sechan mendesah-desah.
- Pengen liat belahan dada si Cynthia Alona .
- Pengen nonton film yang gak seseru sinetron.
Untuk sesuatu yang nanggung dan mudah dilupakan, gue kasih nilai 1 bintang dari 5 bintang. Dengan detail nilai; 0.1 untuk filmnya, 0.5 untuk ceplakan segitiga pengaman si Titi Kamal dan 0.4 dibagi rame2 antara akting pemerannya.
PS: Ini lama2 kok blog gue jadi ngereview film melulu. Mudah2an ada sponsor atau penyandang dana yang mau menyediakan tiket dan menanggung biaya pengobatan kerusakan fisik dan spiritual gue, hasil dari nonton film yang berbahaya tersebut.
