Beberapa hari yang lalu adek gue diungsikan dari bandung ke jakarta gara2 sakit lumayan parah.. Demam tinggi dan pusing extra sensitif.. Tapi sebelum weekend kemaren, adek gue dah sehat walafiat... So, berhubung gue jarang ketemu adek gue ini, akhirnya gue berdua pengen pergi nonton & makan di luar atau entah aktivitas apalah, yang penting gue mo spend my quality time with my sister...
Akhirnya kita memutuskan nonton film indonesia yang judulnya XL di Plaza Kalibata.. Kenapa di kalibata? Karena jaraknya deket dari rumah.. kira2 15 menit kalo jalan kaki.. Dan kenapa film XL? Karena kata temen adek gue, filmnya cukup menarik.. Dan dari 4 studio yang tersedia, kayaknya cuma XL ini yang cukup pantes ditonton..
Setelah menjelajah makan di Mc.D (Spagethi), Pizza Hut (Paket berdua + Deluxe Platter) dan J.CO (Choco Mint + Thai Tea) dalam waktu kurang dari 2 jam, akhirnya kita membulatkan tekad untuk membeli tiket XL...
Dan berikut review gue setelah berhasil lolos dari maut...
Topik utama film XL adalah tentang bagimana si tokoh utama (Deni, by Jamie Adity) bisa mempersiapkan "senjata"-nya untuk siap tempur menghadapi calon istrinya yang hypersex (Vicky, by Dewi Sandra).. Mengingat senjata si Deni yang kecil, mungil tapi tetep berusaha positive thinking dengan memanggilnya "Teguh", maka si Deni beserta gerombolannya mencari bantuan ke turunan ke-8 Mak Erot (by Sarah Sechan). Selain berobat, si Deni diberi kesempatan tinggal 1 rumah dengan wanita bayaran (Intan, by Francine Roosenda) untuk melatih kemampuan gaya, posisi dan sebagainya..
Cerita dasarnya sebenernya menarik.. Tapi sayangnya kurang diolah dan jadinya kayak gak niat bikin film.. Hasilnya kayak film low budget..
Angle pengambilan gambar bener2 standar kayak sinetron.. cuma geser kiri.. geser kanan.. close up..
Kualitas warna dan sebaginya kayak ngambil pake handycam dan diedit2 dikit warnanya biar kayak camera mahal.. Sayangnya hasilnya malah jadi butek..
Suaranya rada2 gak jelas.. terutama kalo ngomongnya rada cepet, jadinya kedengeran kayak ngomong "eh.. gue juga blublublub.. kadang.. blublublub..".
Property-nya juga gak meyakinkan gituh.. Masa tempat transaksi WTS kayak pasar malem.. Rame, lampu kelap-kelip, trus ada papan nama pake gabus.. persis kayak acara ultah ABG.. Gak meyakinkan banget..
Dialog yang dibuat juga gak bermutu.. Kosong dan kadang gak perlu.. Apalagi kalo pas ngobrolin topik seks dan kisarannya..
Mungkin penulisnya perlu research lebih mendalam, apa sih yang diomongin pervert kalo lagi ngumpul bareng..
Dialog Sarah Sechan sebagai mak erot juga rada2 "najis tralala".. Gue sama sekali gak ketawa dengan dialog2nya.. Jangankan ketawa, senyum aja enggak..
Untuk melengkapi penderitaan, akting para pemerannya terlihat... hmm.. kata yang sopan mungkin... Seadanya!
Kalo sebelumnya pernah liat para VJ MTV tersebut nongol di TV, maka lo gak akan menemukan perbedaan.. Entah mereka sulit berakting sebagai pervert atau malah sebenernya dari dulu mereka emang pervert jadi sekarang kita gak menemukan bedanya.. But, who cares...
Btw, entah kenapa gue rada jijay pas liat si Dewi Sandra.. Gue mikir, "Ini sih bukan hyperseks, tapi hypermakeup...". Makeup-nya tebel banget, tapi gak cukup tebel untuk nutupin bopeng bekas jerawat di mukanya..
Oia, pengecualian buat si pemeran istrinya Stevan.. Aktingnya bagus.. terutama pas nangis bombay sambil ngelempar2 piring.. Gue merasa dia menangis memang murni dari dalam hati.. Mungkin dia nangis karena property piring2 yang dipecahin ma dia harus diganti dari gajinya karena minimnya budget..
Buat aktring pemeran si intan juga lumayan menarik dan natural..
Untuk sebuah film yang ngakunya bergenre komedi, hampir disepanjang film, gue sama sekali gak ketawa.. senyum2 dikit memang ada, tapi gak banyak.. Bahkan pas keluar dari bioskop, gue dah lupa apa yang bikin gue senyum tadi.. Yang gue inget paling cuma cleavage dan long legs para pemeran cewe.. Dah, itu doank!
Singkat kata, sebuah film yang idenya sangat bagus tapi eksekusinya gagal walau tidak total.. Padahal masih banyak yang bisa dioptimalkan kualitasnya.. Gue curiga semua budget yang seharusnya untuk meningkatkan kualitas cinematografi atau menyekolahkan para pemerannya ke guru akting yang bagus malah dipake untuk mbayarin tas ber-merk yang dipake si Dewi Sandra dalam salah satu scene.. Jadi ya wajarlah kalo hasilnya dibawah ambang nge-pas...
Overall, Film ini cocok buat:
- Orang yang gak ngerti, mak erot itu apa atau siapa.
- Orang yang kebanyakan waktu luang dan rela menyisihkan uangnya yang berharga.
- ABG yang trendy.
- Orang2 yang selera humornya setara dengan yang doyan humor "slapstik"..
- Orang2 yang seneng liat belahan dada dan paha tapi malu beli DVD bokep atau majalah FHM di lapak pinggir jalan.
Untuk semua itu, gue kasih nilai 1,5 bintang dari 5 bintang..
Sebenernya cuma 1 bintang, tapi gue tambah 0,5 bintang karena gue cukup terhibur liat belahan dada dan paha para aktris..
PS: Sebelum film dimulai, ada orang yang nekat kentut! Gila, baunya lama banget ilangnya.. Apakah sekarang gue perlu juga bikin poll tentang "kentut di bioskop" setelah "kentut di lift"?
PS2: Rada prihatin juga, gue ngeliat banyak anak kecil kisaran SD atau SMP yang pada nonton... Padahal dari tema, seharusnya ini kan film untuk Remaja atau Dewasa. Gila yah, anak jaman sekarang cepet banget matengnya..
