Semalem gue ada kondangan temen SMP, dan kebeneran sekalian reuni dadakan dg temen satu gank dulu. Setelah muter2 ngicipin hampir semua makanan, salaman & ngucapin selamat ke pengantinnya (Ya! Sesuai strategi, kita makan dulu baru salaman!) akhirnya kita ber-empat memutuskan mo kongkow2 dulu, nonton film di PIM, mungkin mampir ke mahakam dan bila perlu mampir ke taman lawang juga.
So, sekitar jam 22.00 akhirya kita sampe di PIM. Pas dateng di bioskop, kita sama sekali gak tau apa yang mo ditonton. Gue clingak-clinguk ngeliat jadwal midnight dan terpampang dengan jelas: PULAU HANTU, 22.45 WIB, Rp. 25.000,-. Sepakat dengan modal nekad dan ikhlas lahir dan batin kehilangan Rp. 25.000,- kalo film-nya gak worthed, akhirnya kita putuskan untuk nonton.
Dan berikut review dari gue setelah berhasil nonton itu film sampe selesai...
Dari judulnya kayaknya udah sangat jelas & informatif; pulau yang ada hantunya. Gak mungkin judulnya Pulau Hantu tapi isinya film Miyabi . Inti ceritanya klise, sekelompok muda-mudi berlibur ke sebuah pulau, pergi ke tempat yang terlarang dan akhirnya dikejar2 hantu.
Alur ceritanya bisa tetap dijaga, walau banyak yang rada2 gak pas.. Dan sesuatu yang seharusnya jadi point utama untuk sebuah klimaks, cerita malah terlalu terfokus ke mereka yang lari2 sambil jejeritan.. Blom lagi bumbu percintaan yang rada2 gak niat.. Porsinya terlalu sedikit untuk menjelaskan hubungan antar karakternya, jadinya ya rada2 garing.. apalagi pake ada acara ciuman segala yg menurut gue rada2 maksa..
Dialog yang dipake juga kadang rada2 aneh dan lemod. Setelah beberapa kali ketemu hantu sampe semua karakter teriak2 dan ngibrit, eh masih ada yang ngomong; "Gue yakin banget kalo pulau ini angker dan ada hantunya" (Dia ngomong something like that, gue lupa persisnya). Heeeellloowwww...!!! Spadaaaa..!!
Penampilan hantunya mirip banget Sadako atau JuOn. Gue curiga mungkin mereka masih ada hubungan sodara. Hantu di film ini juga kayaknya rada2 gak konsekuen.. Di awal, hantunya kalo muncul mulutnya cuma mangap gede banget, persis kayak waktu ada orang ngeliat gue lari2 telanjang.. SHOCK! Sementara di bagian2 akhir, mulut hantunya tetep mangap gede tapi ada gigi runcing gede2 berjejer rapih mirip gigi hiu.. Dari mana datangnya gigi2 itu? Cuma Tuhan, sutradara dan supir bajaj yang tahu..
Secara visual lumayan bagus, minimal mata gue gak pedes. Apalagi disepanjang film, banyak visualisasi boobs in bikini, some ass dan long naked legs-nya pemeran cewek (Ya iyalah, pemeran cewek. Kalo pemeran cowo, gue bisa gagal jantung). Tapi sekilas cara editing dan ngambil sudut kamera kayak video klip banget.. Apalagi suka dikasih efek2 editing khusus. Ya wajar sih, lha wong sutradaranya jebolan dunia video klip.. Tapi yang paling gue gak doyan itu pas adegan malem2.. Memang susah banget mo ngatur tata cahaya di scene malem2 di tengah hutan. Soalnya kalo terlalu terang, seolah2 kayak di pasar malem. Terlalu remang juga ntar disangka Taman Lawang, suka gak jelas. So, maka diakalin nih sama si sutradaranya.. Take filmnya diambil siang2/sore2/pagi2, lalu saat masuk editing warnanya dibikin grayscale/semi hitam putih gitu.. Jadi deh adegan malem2 tapi masih jelas terlihat.. Idenya sih bagus, tapi gue pribadi gak begitu suka.. Dan teknik visualisasi ini banyak terjadi di sepanjang film..
Yang gue agak bingung pas nonton film ini adalah nama-nama tokohnya. Entah suaranya yang kadang suka gak jelas, entah karena pemerannya kalo manggil nama suka kayak orang kumur2, entah karena nama tokohnya yang rada2 mirip, entah karena gue terlalu sibuk dan konsentrasi penuh ngelitin dada, pantat dan paha aktrisnya.. Entah kenapa.. Mungkin kalo lo nonton film ini dan tau jawabannya, harap kasih tau gue..
Overall, walau ada kekurangan dibanyak point, tapi ternyata gue cukup menikmatinya.. Ini bener2 di luar ekspetasi gue.. Sayang sekali endingnya kagak tuntas, jadi kemungkinan siap2 aja untuk Pulau Hantu 2..
Untuk sesuatu yang generic tapi masih tetap bisa menghibur, gue kasih film Pulau Hantu skor 3 dari 5 bintang..
Film ini cocok untuk anda yang:
- Bingung abis kondangan mo nonton apaan.
- Pervert yang pengen liat dada, pantat dan paha cewek ABG.
- Mencari tontonan yang ringan dan punya duit extra.
- .... (silahkan isi sendiri)
PS: Buat yang blom tau, ternyata nama Pulau Hantu memang benar ada.. Info lebih lanjut bisa baca di sini!
PS: Kita kagak ke Mahakam atau ke Taman Lawang kok! Sumpah!
